Control Your Mind Incursion

We show children how to take charge of their emotions so your school can become the calm and focused place of learning it was meant to be.

The Control Your Mind Incursion is a school wellbeing program, featuring an interactive one hour performance which has been designed with Stages 1 and 2 in mind, with optional adaptions made to suit your Early Stage 1 or Stage 3 students as well.

Children will not only learn powerful strategies for gaining calm in the moment, but they will actively practise and experiment with the various methods taught.

What could it look like if students could control their own minds?

Right now, more young Australians than ever are struggling with their mental health. According to the Australian Bureau of Statistics, almost one in three young people are experiencing high or very high levels of psychological distress (and higher for girls, nearly 50%!)

Anxiety, stress, and pressure are at record levels, and schools are on the frontline of this crisis.

This is why we have chosen to focus each of our incursions around the mental wellbeing of the students.

Each engaging and practical session gives students tools they can use immediately to shift their emotional and mental state so they can thrive in school and beyond.

Your students will spend less time managing their highs and lows, more time focused, calm and in a learning state, while you will be free to teach students who are interested, curious and ready to learn.

Your students will learn how to calm themselves down that work in the moment, including strategies such as:

You will be amazed by the changes you see in the school, where your students take charge of their state, and learning flows without wasted time. Imagine your students using calmer voices, their eyes are focused and the classroom energy feels lighter.

You will wish you had made this incursion a priority earlier!
