Introduction - What is Anxiety?

 

Welcome to our introductory course, where you will discover the formula for anxiety and learn the secrets on how to do the opposite. You will also learn: What is a state? What is anxiety? How does it present in the body? Why bother learning about it? These are some of the questions answered in this video.

Breathing

 

The physiology of breathing shows that just by using a specific breathing technique you can calm your nervous system, feel less anxious and more in control.

This controlled breathing technique strengthens the immune system, enhances resilience to cold, and even helps regulate emotions by calming the nervous system.

This breathing exercise is used in many schools for those struggling with emotional regulation and anger management. Many people find it a powerful tool for reducing anxiety and improving overall well-being.​

In these videos Wim Hof guides you through the breathing method. Start with video #1 until you and your child feel comfortable and only do it when sitting or lying in a comfortable position. Do not push yourself or your child beyond what you feel comfortable doing, and you will find these exercise easier and easier over time.

You will need to supervise your child when first doing these breathing exercises.
